Thailand tourism has a different year calendar than regular calendar . The beginning of the year starts from 1 November and end at 31 October. As a tour agency and tour operator. We have to get hotel rate and tour rate ready for publishing before the new season started.

The worker in product department must read contract carefully before load the product in their database. It takes time and must be very careful about this. - Most hotels charge for gala dinner for new year except cultural destination such as Bangkok and Chiang mai. I surprised that many five star hotel in Hua Hin did not charge for additional on Gala Dinner and other things. I guest that may be because they receive less tourists than other destination. But it is good to know to make booking to Hua Hin if you have family and consider to stay at five star property.
- Many five star hotel in Phuket, Krabi, and Samui do not charge for Christmas eve gala dinner. I think the hotel has forced the less booking due to we are under military government control. We think this is not a good sign for the tourism industry for sure.
- I found many interesting new properties in different destination.
