Thailand has the beautiful natural site which attracts lots of tourists to visit over 20 million visitors a year. There are cultural site, temple, natural place including mountain, beach, Island, sea, waterfall, forest, river and canal. However, the beauty one of the sightseeing places we would like talk in this blog is the beautiful Thailand waterfall ( the Thai call “ Namtok ”) which were not far from Bangkok.
There are more than a hundred of waterfalls in Thailand. Luckily, the waterfalls near Bangkok are very beautiful. The visitors could visit those waterfalls all year round. The highly recommended to visit Thailand waterfall is included….
- Namtok Erawan or Erawan National Park is located in Amper Sri Sawat, Kanchanaburi. The distance from Bangkok to Erawan National Park is around 200 kilometers. There are seven tiers of Erawan waterfalls(over 1,500 m dropping down) with emerald green ponds each tiers and the people said the top tier of the waterfall is look like the elephant’s head(Erawan is the name of the three headed white elephant of Hindu mythology). The Erawan waterfall is regarded as one is more beautiful in Thailand, it making you feel like you are in a paradise and also have the beautiful caves in the area. There are restaurants, facilities, bungalows and a campsite for the visitors. Opening Everyday at 07.30 a.m – 04.30 p.m .

- Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park. The located is in Muak Lek district, Saraburi province. It is around 120 kilometers of the distance from Bangkok to Namtok Chet Sao Noi , Saraburi. A waterfall flows down along the creek with about 7 floors, each floor has a height of about 2-5 meters which wide basin areas and shady trees. There provide Nayak ship, rafting, trekking, and camping.

Namtok Sarika is the large waterfall flowing from the 9th floor which the top level of the high cliff(around 200 meters). Nearly with the waterfall has “Sarika Cave”. There is providing facilities for the visitors.

Namtok Nang Rong is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Nakhon Nayok province and the distance is not far from Namtok Sarika area. There are several small levels of waterfall cascades and flow down through the rocks. There are provide facilities to the visitors including the resort, bungalow, and all adventure activities outdoors such as swimming, canoeing, rafting and etc.

Travel out of Bangkok to the North and the west of Bangkok. At Khanchanaburi , Prachineburi, Saraburi and Nakhonratchasima will be able to visit beautiful Thailand waterfalls. It could be a day trip or overnight trip as you prefer. The travel time is around 2-3 hours per way. It might be better to take an overnight trip to enjoy seeing around the Bangkok neighbor province.
