This mountain top temple is a beautiful temple which belongs to Phuping Palace. If you are athletic, climb up the Naga stair, 300 steps. The main building is integrated Golden Pagoda. The story of temple remands a legend. Some said it was built in 1383 for holy shrine.
Highly recommend to visit during the Sun set or Sun Rise. It is not just a great view. It is also a chance to witness the monks evening chanting.

This is one of the oldest temples in the city which was the residence of Chiang mai’s founder. An amazing aspect of the temple is its Chedi (main building). It has 15 elephant carvings incorporated into its base. The inscription built in 1465.

Outstanding Singh, mystical statue, is at the front gate of the temple. The Lai kam assembly is decorated with elaborate wooden garble. This temple was built in the 14th century by Khing Pha Yu. This temple was built in 1391. The high pagoda was made by King Saen Muang Ma in order to house the ashes of King Ku Na. Later , the pagoda was damaged in the 1545 earthquake. But it still remains the beauty of the Naga staircase on each of its faces and elephant statues on the base.
