Wat Chiang man

This is one of the oldest temples in the city which was the residence of Chiang mai’s founder. An amazing aspect of the temple is its Chedi (main building). It has 15 elephant carvings incorporated into its base. Wat Phra Singh

Outstanding Singh, mystical statue, is at the front gate of the temple. The Lai kam assembly is decorated with elaborate wooden garble. This temple was built in the 14th century by Khing Pha Yu. Wat Chedi Luang

This temple was built in 1391. The high pagoda was made by King Saen Muang Ma in order to house the ashes of King Ku Na. Later , the pagoda was damaged in the 1545 earthquake.
