Kuang Seafood at Rangnam

 This place is well known for its great seafood dish and variety selections. Including , they have a great service and friendly staff, that are always ready to help you. You can see the live seafood in aquariums outside.

This seafood restaurant cooked in Chinese style. The famous menu is curry crab which is price by weight which is around 500 -2000 THB/dish. The restaurant is located on Rangnam street, near the Victory monument. We love Tomyam Goong, and abalone stir with Chinese blocker. Some Chu Chi with fish is also spicy and rich with herbal.  Tod Man Koong and Krabuang Talay are deep fried stuff that we always order. If you are in Bangkok and loving seafood, it is a good idea to visit this restaurant once.


Reservation in advance is recommended, it seems to be busy lately to walk in and wait long time. This is a place that we visit quite offend and love to bring our guest here.  – see crab stir with black paper


Lord Jim in Oriental Hotel


Our guest invited one of us to dine here. It was a nice experience.  The restaurant is located on the second floor and overlooks the river night. The entrance of the place has lived marine in the neon light fish tank. It was a lovely view and atmosphere. Boasting uninterrupted views of the river, this seafood and prime cut grill is a local institution and one of Bangkok’s most beloved places to meet. The sumptuous lunchtime selection of seafood, roast meats, international dishes and Lord Jim’s classics such as pan-fried foie gras are all offered. The food was delicious, and the service was great. If you are looking for high-end seafood, look no further. For the local people, the food was a bit mild taste. You must understand that Thai is a spicy lover person. By night, Lord Jim’s transforms into a more relaxed and vibrant setting.

Laem Cha-reon Seafood 

This is a famous seafood restaurant in main shopping malls or plaza in Bangkok; Icosiam , Central World , Siam Paragon and many more. The original menu features crispy fried fresh fish and fluffy meats topped with a mellow aromatic fish sauce. Simple but classic, like no other, because they do it from the heart and meticulously every step of the way.


The beginning of Laem Charoen Seafood From a small seafood restaurant in Paknam Rayong, from that day until today, Laem Charoen Seafood has grown to have branches throughout Bangkok and many provinces. The proudest for this place is to make Rayong’s unique Thai seafood known and appreciated and accepted by customers for a long time.


Recommend dish is crab meat stream dip in spicy source. Deep fried Sea bass with fish sauce and stream fishing with spicy curry (Hor Mok Pla) are also delicious. Price of food is reasonable which will not break your wallet for sure

Kruatanoi Restuarant

 The restaurant is close to train park (Talad Rodfai ).It was started by Grandpa Noi, but now he is retired and gave the restaurant to his children to run. It offers reasonable prices for seafood; however, the price is a little bit higher than before. They serve Seafood cooking Thai Style. Their tests are unbeatable, if you want to try local Thai seafood, this is the place.

 No one will ever beat their Tom Yum Koong. I love their Shrimp Cake as well as Meunk Manow Dong (squid and lime pickle). It is not in a tourist spot. If you have Thai friends, you can ask them to visit here.

Famous seafood Markets near Bangkok

 It’s worth mentioning that Thailand is known for its numerous markets, and seafood lovers can find excellent seafood options in various other markets near Bangkok as well. Some other seafood markets to consider include:


 This is not a restaurant name. Mahachai Market is well-known in Thailand for having one of the largest seafood markets in the country. It is in the town of Mahachai, which is in Samut Sakhon Province, just southwest of Bangkok. The market is approximately 30 kilometers (about 19 miles) away from the capital city.

 The market is located next to the Mahachai Railway Station, and visitors can observe the unique sight of trains passing through the bustling market area. The primary focus of Mahachai Market is wholesale trading. Seafood vendors from various parts of Thailand and even neighboring countries come here to purchase seafood in bulk for distribution to restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and other markets in Bangkok and beyond. 

Go there for cheap food and walk around the market to see local live. Take a break and taste local snack and sea food product is a great fun.

Local Fishing Market Ang Sila Chonburi

This market is in a very local area in Samutprakan province. It is a major hub for seafood trading in Thailand, and it’s one of the largest and busiest seafood markets in the country. It offers a wide variety of fresh seafood products, including different types of fish, prawns, crabs, squid, shellfish, and much more.

Pak Nam market is usually open 24 hours a day, and there are different popular times for retail and wholesale. The most popular time to buy fresh food from this market is around 5 or 6 a.m. in the morning, when freshmen have brought fresh caught to shore. This time is very difficult to find a parking space. For those who want to go shopping at wholesale price for dried seafood, they can go anytime. It is better to make a list of what you want to buy before you go, it is fast and there is no need to stay in a busy market for too long.
